Who we are.
Welcome to Hotel Puerta Sepúlveda, I'm Macu and I'm delighted to welcome you. We are located in the village of the 7 gates.
In 2001, we transformed the building that had been my grandfather Panta and my father's carpentry since 1961. Due to the uniqueness of the materials such as the pink stone of Sepúlveda, we preserved the essence of the building, giving it great importance to wood, as my father is a craftsman and the best person to advise us and create an unparalleled hotel with his good ideas and wonderful hands. In 2003, we inaugurated the hotel that my family and I designed and decorated with a lot of effort, enthusiasm, and desire.
The result is a rural hotel with 11 rooms, complete bathrooms, all of them unique and different, as each one adapts to the needs of our clients, whether it's a triple room, attic rooms for couples, or special rooms for a romantic stay, etc. but always preserving the essence. We also have 2 lounge-restaurants where you can recharge for the day with our variety of breakfasts while watching a video of the natural park of the village and some of the activities you can do in the area. You can also hold work, friends, or family meetings in our social lounge with a fireplace, where you can enjoy a warm coffee and spend relaxing moments by the fire in winter. We also have a large terrace where you can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner if the weather allows it.
Why did we create a hotel-restaurant in Sepúlveda? Because my family and I wanted to work, live, and enjoy Sepúlveda, and offer our visitors an exclusive place "The coziest refuge for maidens and gentlemen in the village", the Hotel Puerta Sepúlveda, where we combine innovation and rustic style.
Sepúlveda is a historic-artistic ensemble, it's gastronomy, nature, intangible culture, and living culture, at the beginning of the natural park of the Duratón River Gorges and only 1 hour away from Madrid. We assure you that it will surprise you. We open the door of our home to you!
